ISSUE:
In essence, customers are not seeing any of the configurable options pre-populate (grayed-out block) when using Safari on a mobile device with IOS15 software installed (meanwhile they work on the Desktop).
SOLUTION:
On other browsers, when preselecting by URL, the value will be of the form: https://i.imgur.com/dFH9d3C.png. Then, when replaced, it will change the ~ sign to '', https://i.imgur.com/JWjAm4u.png. The value will be similar to the label option value, which triggers the click.
Meanwhile, on Safari, when preselecting by URL, the value will be of the form: https://imgur.com/LvEAPNB, so when replaced, this value will remain unchanged. The value will be different from the label option. which makes the click not to be selected.
To temporarily resolve the issue, please edit the file: app/code/Bss/Simpledetailconfigurable/view/frontend/web/js/configurable_control.js as below:
