M2.4.4, v2.2.9(Klarna Removal): Fix conflict with Magento 2.4.4

ISSUE:

We have upgraded the Magento to 2.4.4 and using the extension of One step checkout version 2.2.9.

Currently, we are facing an error on the checkout page:

Error: Exception #0 (Exception): Deprecated Functionality: trim(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in app/code/Bss/OneStepCheckout/Controller/Index/Index.php on line 164

SOLUTION:

There is a conflict issue between our module and Magento 2.4.4

To resolve the issue, please edit the file app/code/Bss/OneStepCheckout/Controller/Index/Index.php:
