Could Auto Invoice for Magento 2 work properly with Virtual products and Cash on Delivery payment method?

Question:

We use "cash on delivery" for specific customer groups. I want to know if M2 Auto Invoice will change the status of an order to "complete" like what happens if I issue an invoice manually to a cash on delivery order.
Basically, we want the invoices to issue automatically, and the order status to go to complete.
Our "cash on delivery" products are "virtual", so there is no shipping for them. What happens if the product type is "virtual" with no shipping?

The Auto Invoice for Magento 2 extension could work properly with Virtual products and Cash on Delivery payment method:

• The invoices will be issued automatically.
• The order status will be changed to "complete" like what happens if you issue an invoice manually to a cash on delivery order.
• If your “cash on delivery” products are "virtual” with no shipping, so there will have no information about shipment.
